Apologies

I have had no internet access for the last 5 days. My internet provider, ATT, did every diagnostic test available and couldn't find the problem. Finally my sister Carole, the webmaster, told me to disconnect my WiFi connection, wait an hour and rebout it. This worked. I am now trying to catch up on all the emails that I have not answered in the last week.

This morning I received a telephone call from South Africa. A prominent medical scientist asked me wether I would consider relocating there. They offered me a real salary, facilities and the ability to conduct my cancer and HIV research without interference from the government.

I am considering the offer. The American government doesn't have too much respect for me. I guess that my ideas are just too weird for their tastes.

Stay tuned...

Its nice to be appreciated. But I am not moving to South Africa. I have an 87 year old mother with early dementia who needs me. She took care of me when I was young so it is my moral obligation to take care of her when she is old. The MJ shipments will continue without a problem. Besides computer problems, I have been sick for so long that I am hopelessly behind in correspondence and fulfilling orders. But I am feeling better. Thanks for your concern.

I can understand your reasons, but it's a shame. With some more resources behind you who knows where this would lead...

Still, it must be flattering to receive such an offer...

On another matter, have you altered the cancer and leukemia protocol with the latest on prozac and flax lignans?

Since prozac appears to enhance the activity of a number of drugs (including fludarabine if I'm not mistaken), how should one approach conventional therapy with one of these drugs? I asked my oncologist and she was (1) not aware of this research, and (2) clueless about taking prozac with fludarabine.

I had a less than stellar response to fludarabine, hence my search for alternatives that may be effective

You have done a great service with your blog. It has helped this stage 3 Pancreatic Cancer immensely. Thank you again. Are you suspending the blog? I hope not. Cliff
