The Methyl Jasmonate Cancer and Leukemia Treatment Protocol. Overview

The plant defense hormone methyl jasmonate is now known to selectively kill cancer and leukemia cells. Normal cells are not harmed. Over time, it became apparent that other compounds, taken concurrently with MJ, could enhance the anti-cancer potency of MJ. These compounds include...

Zinc
Sodium selenite
Glutamine
High potency flax pre-lignans
Vitamin A
Vitamin D

In subsequent essays I will document how these compounds enhance the therapeutic efficacy of MJ.

In a similar vein, there are certain compounds that cannot be taken with MJ. These compounds include...

ANY anti-oxidants, including vitamin C, E, n-acetylcysteine (NAC) and alpha lipoic acid (ALA).

Also, aspirin and sodium salicylate, the active incredient in aspirin, cannot be taken with MJ. Salicylate is also a plant defense hormone, but it antagonizes the effectiveness of MJ.

Hopefully, we can streamline our anti-cancer and anti-leukemia treatment protocols to include the fewest, and most mutually synergistic compounds.

Stay tuned...

Do you think there is a chance that MJ would selectively kill DNA damaged cells in addition to cancer cells? For instance, do you think this protocol could also be tried for people with moderate to severe dysplasia or other pre-cancerous cells?

Finally, would sulindac also help synergistically with this protocol?

Cheers!

Yes MJ would probably kill DNA damaged cells. Further, sulindac would be a great complement to MJ. I left it off the list because it is a prescription drug.

What about Curcumin and decreasing NF kappa Beta?

With the high cost of MJ which is produced in Japan I would welcome any comment as to whether Jasminum grandiflorum from the Plant Family
Jasminaceae would be and equal or alternative to MJ.

Chemical Constituents:
Benzyl Farnesol, Geranoil, Nerol, Terpineol (Alochols), Linalyl acetate, Methyl anthranilate (Esters), Jasmone (Ketone), Eugenol (Phenol).

Dr Steve,

Thank you for all of your research. It is very much appreciated... especially about MJ.

I must mention though, that glutamine should NOT be used if someone has multiple myeloma. Check out the 1976 article "Amino Acid Metabolism of Myeloma Cells in Culture", Univ. of Texas. Glutamine feeds the myeloma cells. We know that for a fact since my husband was taking it before being diagnosed with very aggressive MM. After going in remission, the MM started to come back very aggressive when he went back on glutamine. Then we found this article! We had a few doctors look at the study, and all agreed that it should not be used.

Another amino acid Acetyl-L-Carntine CAN be taken, and they are even starting some clinical trials with it and Velcade.

It protects your nerves and is used for neuropathy, it protects your heart, helps with energy and muscle wasting. Using it with essential fatty acids also increases apotosis.

Best Regards.
